Mario and Luigi

How interesting... Is it just me or is there a shocking similarity between your two favourite video game characters and ... those two annoying Italian plumbers?

Not to blow my own horn, but this is perhaps one of the easiest videos we've ever made, but also one of the must fun and funniest. But don't take my word for it. Judge for yourself.

Everybody knows somebody like this, don't they?

Ball Game

Shamefully it has been almost three months since our last video, which is a long long time.

But fear not, dear stalkers! Here is the latest video, straight from the press, with another to come next week, and many more following that. Hopefully one for Christmas, dare we make that promise!

Goshdarn Goes Digital

The legendary Keith Cooper draws our faces. We recieved an email a short while ago, and Sam called me to show me them. I was very impressed...

Thanks very much Keith. I personally checked out the other drawings on your site, and they were awesome.

Small Update

Only a minor change to the site - we've changed our favourite video hosting site from Vimeo to YouTube, as everybody knows it's a freakin' powerhouse.

It also looks a lot cooler, so if you'll look to your right, you'll see where it says 'Recent Videos', there'll be a list of five or six of our latest videos, all linking straight to YT for easy access.

No fuss, no muss. That's how much we love you guys.

Surprise!

Holy sweet mother of mothers of sweet holy mothers! I just got splurged in the face by another great Goshdarn video!

Excuse the innuendo if you will, but I had to try to distract you whilst I uploaded this video, which has admittedly been a long time in the works. Although only shot in one day, the idea has been circulating for some time, and it has been a little too long between now and our previous video.

But fear not, here it is. Surprise!

Is it just me or does our sense of humour make you want to be sick too?

A Spoonful of Sugar

Sweet Abraham's beard!

Sam got back from holiday either yesterday or today, and called me this morning. After making a Goshdarn splurging based decision, here is the video that you've been waiting for - the video that will put Goshdarn back into action, back on the map, back in business!

Huzzah!

A Goshdarn Good Excuse

Despite the title of this post, the content of it does not contain a Goshdarn good excuse for either the lack of videos or the starving children around the world.

However, what it does contain is some good news.

It made my heart shrivel up just as it should have done months ago when I beheld two comments on the Goshdarn YouTube channel, which read:

'Months! It's been two friggin' months! When's your next parole hearing?' - Tiednbound

'Post more videooooosss' - Magicpauly

Now I'll be the first to admit that the latter does not contain as cryptic a message as the former, and whilst the former does not contain that cryptic a message, I feel that it shall need explaining nonetheless.

For - apparently - two months, Goshdarn has been on an as yet unjustified hiatus, with few videos in the works, and little public appearances. However, all is about to change.

As I write this, Sam is on holiday in ... Argh ... He told me, but I now can't remember.

Anyway, he is either still in the mystery location, intent of flying back within days, or he is already on the plane home. I don't know which, because I don't actually know where he's gone or when he'll be back, but he left two weeks ago, and school is starting soon, so he doesn't have much of a choice.

Anyway, when he gets back, Goshdarn will be kickstarting once more, with at least one new video, and with several being filmed and edited for your enjoyment.

Although there will unfortunately be no Series 3, we have decided to engage in the act of what we have started to call 'splurging', which is what we used to do - release a video frequently, but pretty much whenever we felt like it.

This will hopefully continue for many years to come, and although I myself will be going to University next year, the Goshdarn train shouldn't be held up too much by that, because this is too big a part of my life.

So there you have it. A done deal.

Now if I can just find out when Sam gets back from Euralaysia... Or wherever.

The Desolate Wasteland

It seems that the Goshdarn website has started to develop similar symptoms to that of a neglected child.

Sorry for the lack of posts in this vicinity, and also, sorry for not warning you beautiful people of the situation in which we find ourselves.

If you've been checking your calender and counting down the days to Series 3, much as my brother has been, you'll be wee-weeing in anticipation for Goshdarn Series 3 to commence in about 12 minutes.

However, as does rarely happen, we are unprepared for the coming storm.

We have one video waiting in line, and it has been for about a month now, and we have another two videos in the wings, not yet edited, but fantastical nonetheless.

Now, granted, we could unleash this one video upon you and watch you, well, react how you normally do, but we feel a little reluctant to do so, seeing as we have none ready otherwise, and would have only a week to work our magic. We're both very busy people.

So, we're going to wait a little bit, but hopefully not too long, because we're just as impatient as you are.

So, thanks for your patience, and we'll let you know what's going down some time later. Cheers gang.

The Hammock Saga - Series 2 Finale!

Sorry it's late all you wonderful people. Well, it's not late to YouTube, but it's late to here. I would have uploaded it but I was in a hurry - it was my birthday on Thursday.

Although this video isn't as much of a climactic twist as last series, but it's still pretty awesome. Let's face it. We could never live up to THAT.

Also, one more apology. We're unfortunately not finished with the choreography of our dance, and so it won't be a part of Series 2. As you've probably realised by now.

Anyway, enough teasing. Time for some pleasing. Here's the magnificent video.

Prank'd!

So, as you'll see in this video, Goshdarn are stepping it up! That's right! We're using a cool white background!

Superhero Interviews

We're sorry it's late... But here it is - wonderful beautiful sexilicious Goshdarn!

Monday, 8 June 2009

No, but seriously...

Why did I do Latin GCSE? What did I hope to gain?
Aw man...
Look what revision did! Made me so bored I actually wrote on this!
So.... What's happening?

Sam's Last Sleepover ... EVER!

After a shocking discovery, Sam has to sleep over at Tom's. Unwillingly.

Is it just me that feels it's sad to know that we're half way through Goshdarn Series 2...?

Sorry the video is so abnormally big, but it's in full HD. And that makes it necessarily huge.

The Happy Dance

We've been working really hard on all our videos in Goshdarn Series 2, and so it's only natural that we take one of our videos to the next level. So, we've decided to choreograph a dance for our final video, to be released on the 25th of June.

Although it's far from finished, we're working very hard constantly to make this dance awesome. We're certainly not professional dancers, but we're trying very hard. And so here is a sneaky peak of what we've done so far...

So, hopefully that's enough to wet your appetite! This video will be coming on the 25th of June, so we can't wait until then ... mainly because it's my birthday, but...

Tom's Real Father

So, it's that day again - Thursday! And time for another HD Goshdarn video!

If you're watching this on Thursday, then the quality may not be so good - that's because YouTube takes a while to process videos and read the HD and high quality specs. But it should be working soon!

As you may also have noticed, we don't normally release videos to YouTube on Thursdays. Why now, you say? Because, well, most of our viewers subscribe to us on YouTube, and so we feel that it's only fair to make sure that they get to see our videos first. And with YouTube's new(ish) HD allowance, you can see it ASAP in HD! Awesome!

Dimension Problems

Unfortunately our first video of Series 2 wasn't our best. Well, some viewers have said that it WAS our best, but if only the dimensions were a little better. We unfortunately had problems with both sites that we use to host our videos - YouTube and Vimeo.

Problems with YouTube were many. The video was absolutely tiny, and the quality was poor. And there wasn't a HD option, despite the video being in HD.

Vimeo problems weren't as prominent, but were noticeable nonetheless. Again, the dimensions were all off - the whole video made us look fat(ter than usual). I mean, I personally could stand to gain a little weight, but Sam is perfectly proportionate.

However, after a harcore lack of sleep last night, I can safely say that these problems have been eliminated. I have discovered the correct dimensions whilst being able to maintain the video's HDness.

The next video of Goshdarn Series 2 will appear here in standard definition, and on Vimeo in its full HD glory. We hope you enjoy it, as we're staying up all night tonight filming the rest of Series 2 and editing until out mouse-clicking fingers fall right off.

Thanks for everybody's ongoing support with the many problems that combine to form Goshdarn!

Breaking News

Breaking News! Goshdarn are dead!

Oh, I'm kidding, relax! Breaking News is just the name of the first video in Goshdarn Series 2, which you can finally watch right here, right now!

Unfortunately, because our other favourite video site Vimeo is playing up with our formatting, the video isn't available in HD quite yet, but fear not, Goshdarn fans! We're working on the problem and soon all will be well. We'll post the video here in HD as soon as we can.

Until then, enjoy the horrible quality of YouTube. Sorry Google.

Insert Series 2 HERE!

As much as I love Vimeo, sometimes it can be a little bit awkward. After all, this is now the third time I've tried to upload the first video of Series 2.

What sucks more is that because of my computer's rubbishly low amount of RAM, when I'm uploading a video, it stops me from doing anything else. I'll have to make do with literature.

Maybe after I check Facebook. And Twitter...

Sorry, but it looks like this video may be a little later than expected. Hopefully not too much, though! It should be on by the end of tonight, providing Vimeo sorts itself out. Shudder...

48 Hours!

It's that time again! The countdown until Series 2 begins NOW!

Well, in reality, it's been going on since the end of Series 1, but hey, why not rekindle the countdown?

This Thursday, the madness begins all over again, and Goshdarn Series 2 hits the website and Vimeo, with our first HD video, Breaking News. Then, on Saturday, all you people too uncool to visit either Vimeo or goshdarn.co.uk will be able to catch it on YouTube.

Please keep the support coming, keep watching and keep commenting on all our videos, and most of all, keep loving us!

We love you, and hope you enjoy Goshdarn Series 2 this Thursday!

New Videos!

So, after waiting 6 hours for a video to finish rendering last night, I can safely say that Goshdarn are half way through filming Series 2! Woohoo!

I know we should be further through, considering Series 2 begins in only 10 days, but we've both been so busy with revision for Sam's GCSE's and my A Levels. So don't judge us!

We really have got some hilarious stuff in store for you, and of course, it's all in HD!

Just a quick thank you to our good friend Keith Cooper for all his awesome ideas, three of which we have/are using.

So, we hope you're looking forward to Series 2!

-Tom
