Goshdarn Series 2 - It's Official!

As most of you probably know, Goshdarn Series 1 was awesome! It was nice to know that we had a set video day, and I hope that it was nice for you guys to know that a new Goshdarn video was waiting for you on a Thursday.

Based on the response, we've decided to do it again! But you've probably figured that our already...

As we've mentioned several times already, Goshdarn Series 2 is going to be Goshdarn's first time using High Definition. You could say we're losing our 'HD-virginity'. But we were never really sure if it would work or not - the Handycam we use films in a format that very few (only two that we know of) editing softwares support, and we weren't sure of all the tech stuff. However, after testing it all out, we have now discovered the format that it all needs to be in, and by uploading a test run to Vimeo, we can now confirm that Goshdarn Series 2 will DEFINITELY be all in HD! Woohoo!

As before, we'll be doing a video a week for six weeks - every Thursday here and on Vimeo, and every Saturday on YouTube. Unless we forget/our internet connection annoys us.

And now the date for our first video can be confirmed - the 21st of May!

... I'm pretty sure that's a Thursday ...

Fancy Little Widget

On the right, just below the beautiful picture of Sam and myself (which, FYI, comes up in Google Images if you type in either of our names!) you will see three little thumbnails with the ... thumbnails ... from our three most recent videos.

This is handy because then you don't have to click on 'More Videos' and then find the one you want. It's an easy way to see the latest videos from the website.

However, just to warn you, by clicking on the thumbnail, you will leave the website. If you've never been to Vimeo before, then it'll be an entire awesome adventure! But because Goshdarn loves Vimeo, we thought it'd be cool.

So go and check out the videos if you haven't already. And if you have, then go and do it again just to test out the new widget.

Day of Emergency!

The title for this post originated from the Latin word, Goshdarnicus, which is the pluperfect term of Goshdus, meaning 'incredibly sexy and awesome'. It's an adjective. - Sam Walls [Book XXXXXXXII ... all of it.]

There is no better day, than that day in which a thing is conceived which lives to be greater than day itself. - Tom Rippon [Book IV, Chapter III, Verse VII, Word VIII]

In honour of Goshdarn's second birthday we have quoted famous philosophers. They weren't famous for being philosophers, and they were only famous amongst the people that knew them, but they were famous philosophers, nonetheless. They came up with such proverbs as 'Worship Goshdarn, and you shall worship yourself.' [Sam Walls Book I]

What we're getting at here is that we are more than false idols... SHUT UP SAM!

No, what we're getting at today is...

Have you never wondered why another name for the Earth is Goshdarn? We created it!

Silencio, fool! Today is the 15th of April. No Sam, not 1972! 2009!

For the more aware friends of Goshdarn, you will know that the date can only mean one thing. Today is the birthday of Goshdarn! We share it with the greats: Leonardo da Vinci, Emma Watson, and Japanese actor and singer Daiki Arioka!

Two years today!

Thanks to all our good friends and fans for the support they've given us over this time!

We love you long time.

The End Of An Era!

So, today is the 9th of April, and unfortunately - as happens to all good things - Goshdarn Series 1 has to draw to a close.

It's been six awesome weeks, and six (hopefully) awesome videos. Thanks to everybody that's watched and subscribed and commented and loved over that short space of time.

But, sadly, it has to end some time. And so, it gives us great pleasure to end Goshdarn Series 1 with one of the most exciting, climactic and potentially confusing storylines ever used for a Goshdarn video. This is Dinner Date.

We hope you have enjoyed the last six weeks as much as we have, because ... well ... we really have.

Thanks to everybody who has made Goshdarn Series 1 a success! We love all of you!

Goshdarn Series 1 Finale!

So, unfortunately Goshdarn Series 1 is drawing to a close. This Thursday is our emotional final video. But holy mother of Abraham Lincoln, it's going to be freakin' off the wall!

The final video is finally finished. Finally.

Today Sam, Joe and myself wrapped up Goshdarn Series 1 with a climactic twist! Well, five actually.

I've just finished editing, and I really want to tell everybody everything about it, but unfortunately that can't be done until Thursday. Only two days, though!

Make sure you don't miss the Goshdarn Series 1 finale, here on goshdarn.co.uk

But c'mon, let's face it, you'd have to be an idiot for missing it!

Bloodlust

Well. It's late. And I can tell you, it's all Tom's fault. All of it. Yup. Yessir.

No. It's my fault really. But here it is anyway!

*Tom takes over*

Definitely Sam's fault. Fo sho mo fo.

I'd just like to take a momento to thank the band Slitvein for letting us use this song for the video. Head over to myspace.com/slitvein to check out more of their music.

But to tell the truth, I'm quite scared. We emailed Slitvein a while back, asking them if we could use the song, and explaining what would happen in the video. I just hope they have good senses of humour...

But seriously, major awesome-points to Slitvein, and make sure you at least check out their MySpace. And as far as I know, their first album will be released this year! I'll be buying it.
